Sales Manager - Residential Flooring - La Grange & Glen Ellyn, IL

DeSitter Flooring, the most trusted name in flooring for 100+ years, is a successful and growing flooring company serving the entire Chicagoland area. We are looking for a talented, professionally trained Sales Manager to serve and manage our residential sales team for both our recently updated showrooms in La Grange and Glen Ellyn, IL and our Shop At Home Division. The compensation for this position includes a $70K base plus incentives.

This position reports directly to the Director of Sales in conjunction with their entire residential sales team in both showrooms to include Shop at Home. The general duties and skills of this position include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities include:

Lead, manage and hold accountable our Residential Sales Associates as they relate to:

· Exemplify and promote company Core Values

· Monitor, manage, and coach all RSA’s.

· Reinforce company directives as they relate to Core Values, process and procedures, software usage, sales proven process, individual revenue goals, store revenue goals, and Shop at Home revenue goals

· Manage all Sale Lead opportunities.

· Manage full utilization of our "6-Step Proven Sales Process."

· Conduct weekly Level 10 meetings to monitor sales goals and process.

· Sales and/or product training

· Delegate showroom responsibilities among staff.

· Collaborate with Corporate Trainer in all training objectives as well as new hire training.

· Ensure that the store is neat and orderly at all times. Adhere to the company Core Values:

Qualifications and Skills

• Associate or bachelors degree preferred but not necessary.
• Minimum 3 years of successful sales management experience
• Previous experience in flooring, home decorating / furnishings or home remodeling experience is helpful.
